After over a year of innovation and development, hundreds of trials and iterations, and perfection of hi-tech manufacturing, we are proud to announce a new version of ManaDrink Origin made with our latest recipe, Mark 6, which delivers an unbeatable 42 essential nutrients.

What makes our Mark 6 recipe better than our previous recipe, Mark 5? In a nutshell, it’s lighter, smoother, and more nutritious than any drink we’ve done before. It's got 8 new ingredients for a total of 42, 6 types of protein, 6 types of fat, 8 types of fiber, 9 essential amino acids, 14 essential vitamins, 17 essential minerals, and 2 essential fatty acids.

Altogether, it delivers 42 essential nutrients that your body cannot create on its own and which are vital for proper bodily function and metabolism.

6 types of protein

One portion of Mark 6 drink (330 kcal) contains 17 g of high-quality plant protein from 6 different sources, as opposed to the 2 in Mark 5 drink. They are: isolated soy protein, isolated pea protein, oat protein, hemp protein, rice protein, and algae protein.

When it comes to protein, it’s not just the amount that counts. Also very important is the spectrum of amino acids that a given food delivers, i.e. whether it has all individual amino acids in the proper amounts. Mana does. Based on chemical analyses and the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the amino acid spectrum in Mark 6 drink is excellent.

8 types of fiber & 6 types of fat

Mark 6 drink contains 6 different types of fibre, as well as a rich blend of 6 plant fats that include EPA & DHA omega-3s. The previous version of ManaDrink, Mark 5, contains 3 types of fibre and 5 plant fats.

One portion of Mark 6 drink delivers 4 g of fibre, which supports the growth and function of friendly intestinal bacteria. This is a mixture of oat fibre with beta-glucans, soluble chicory fibre (also known as inulin), carrot fibre, hemp fibre, pea fibre, algae fibre, cellulose, and soy fiber.

Mark 6 drink also contains a nutritious, 16-g mixture of fats from canola oil, algae oil (rich in DHA and EPA omega-3s), coconut oil, sunflower oil, flaxseed oil, and oat oil, as well as phospholipids from soy lecithin. This provides important fat-soluble vitamins and valuable phytonutrients such as vitamin E, phytosterols, and lutein.

A multivitamin in unconventional form

Just like the previous version, Mark 6 drink contains a total of 14 vitamins, and 24 minerals and trace elements. But what’s different about Mark 6 is that it has new, chelated forms of magnesium, potassium, and zinc, which are even more soluble, and thus more bioavailable. We also increased the amount of potassium from 400 mg to 520.

Lighter & smoother

One ManaDrink delivers 330 kcal, which is approximately one sixth of the daily caloric intake for the average adult. This is lighter than the standard serving of our powder. Because the powder essentially offers unlimited portioning options at an unbeatable price, we wanted our drink to serve as a lighter and more convenient food that will still kill hunger, but which can be consumed more readily on the go.

This way, you can climb a mountain or read a book afterwards without feeling heavy or sleepy. For some, the new ManaDrink can serve as a hearty snack in between lunch or dinner, while for others with lower caloric needs, it may be ideal as a main meal.

Taste & technology

Two more reasons for the new calorie count are taste and technology (these are related). In terms of technology, this will enable us to produce even more delicious versions of our drink in the future (the thicker the drink, the harder it is to modify the flavor). One new drink flavor is almost complete. When you try it, we think you’ll agree with us!

We also always take into account customer feedback when developing new products, and the slightly reduced calorie count has allowed us to remove the bitterness that some customers noticed in our previous drinks. This version is decidedly smoother. It’s consistency is rich - like that of a milkshake, just without the milk.
